The very sobering part of our day was to walk around “ground zero” where so many lost their lives at the hands of terrorists on 9/11/2001. We also visited St. Paul’s Chapel and St. Peter’s Church, the only two buildings within miles of the attack that sustained no damage…..not a stone dislodged, not a window broken.
